Taco Lunch

A fantastic Taco Lunch was enjoyed by all in our Parish Hall on July 12th.  The lunch was in recognition of 64 summer youth workers who are part of the Salkehatchie Summer Service Project.  These youth were on Edisto Island for a week doing home repair projects for residents.  The lunch was organized by the Women’s Guild and supported by several church and community organizations.  In addition to the delicious taco lunch, the workers enjoyed a program which included our church T-shirts as door prizes and they each received  Life Saver bags with candy, prayer cards & a Jerusalem Olive Wood Cross.  It was an exciting afternoon in our Parish Hall as everyone joined together in Sharing God’s Love on Edisto Island.
